About:
Gianculi is an acoustic soul duo from Portland, Oregon, comprised of Niles Armstrong and Dan Frantz. Dan and Niles both play guitar and sing, putting to tape the kind of songs you'd want to listen to on your next yachting expedition, conjuring up comparisons to greats like Hall and Oates, Kenny Rogers, Michael McDonald (namechecked on Track 3) and Lionel Richie, whose "Stuck On You" begins the EP. The final track also features an appearance by the Gianculi Choir, featuring Lauren Carter, Mike Larson and Jack Saturn of The Online Romance.

Jack also served as engineer on these recordings, which were recorded at Morris Street in May 2006 and mixed on 6/6/06 -- no wonder it turned out so evil.
